Recently, my husband and I got free TV show tickets to The Jimmy Fallon Show! We had an absolute blast. The pre-show comedian was hilarious and we were able to see a favorite actress and musician! It was SO much fun!! After we got our free TV show tickets for The Jimmy Fallon Show and went, we both said "Why didn't we do this sooner?" Now, we're hooked! Daily Show with Jon Stewart
The show tapes at Daily Show Studios, 733 11th Avenue. It's usually filmed Monday through Thursday at 5:45 PM. Click here to request tickets to the Daily Show with John Stewart!
Late Show With David Letterman
Go to the Ed Sullivan Theater, 1697 Broadway (between 53 and 54 Street) to request tickets for shows up to one month in advance. You can go Monday through Thursday from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM or on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. If you are interested in trying for standby tickets, call 212-247-6497 starting at 11:00 AM on the day of the show. You will be asked to answer a David Letterman trivia question, and if you answer it correctly, you'll be asked to arrive at the theater about one hour before taping. Remember, standby tickets mean just that, you’ll standby in the event that there is an available seat.
Martha Stewart
Martha Stewart usually tapes on weekdays at both 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. At times, the show looks for specific kinds of audience members to fit the show’s daily theme such as a new mom, a baker, etc. If you fit the bill, you’ll have a greater likelihood of obtaining tickets. However, I applied as an “ordinary person” and got my tickets! The show tapes at 221 W. 26th Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues. Click on this link to reserve your free TV show tickets. Live with Regis and Kelly
The show tapes Monday through Friday at 9:00 AM. Ticket holders should plan to be at the studio by or before 8:00 AM. If you would like a standby ticket, come to the studio (SE corner of West 67th and Columbus Avenue) as early as 7 AM for a number. Rachel Ray
The show is taped on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Audience members must arrive by 10:15 AM for the 12:00 PM taping, and by 2:15 PM for the 4:00 PM taping. Saturday Night Live
In August, submit your name by e-mail to snltickets@nbcuni.com. If selected, you will receive an e-mail confirmation and 2 tickets. But, don’t stress, you can come for stand-by tickets too! Arrive by 7:00 AM on the morning of the taping under the "NBC Studios" sign. It is located on the 50th Street side of 30 Rockefeller Plaza.
The Early Show
The Early Show’s studio is located in the General Motors Building, Fifth Avenue at 59th Street, on the ground floor. Advance tickets are NOT needed; however, you must arrive no later than 7:15 AM for the day’s taping! Also, take advantage of the FREE Backstage After The Show tour! Late Night with Jimmy Fallon
Tickets are booked about one month in advance of taping. Call (212) 664-3056 to reserve your tickets. For standby tickets, arrive no later than 9:00 AM on the morning of the taping under "NBC Studios" marquee on the 49th Street side of 30 Rockefeller Plaza (GE Building). The View
The View airs live from Monday through Thursday, 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon. An additional show is taped during the week that airs on Fridays. Ticket holders must arrive at the studio, 320 West 66th Street, by 9:30 AM. Who Wants To Be A Millionaire with Meredith Vieira?
The show is taped at ABC-TV, 30 West 67th Street. After you request tickets you will receive an e-mail confirming the tape date, time and location. The tickets are mailed on a first-come, first-served basis, 2 weeks in advance of the tape date. To request tickets and/or to audition for the show click here.
MY TIPS
Be sure to wear very comfortable shoes and bring some reading material or an iPod. You'll spend alot of empty time waiting to enter the studio, and the comfort of good shoes and something to pass the time with, will be appreciated.
