When choosing NYC hotels or accommodations, select a location that is convenient to the majority of attractions you will visit, as well as a subway station or bus stop. If, for example, you are planning to visit the Statue of Liberty, the Intrepid, the Empire State Building, and lots of shows and plays, consider sleeping on Manhattan's west side, this refers to west of Fifth Avenue. If you are avid museum goer, consider the upper East Side, where you'll find Museum Mile. You'll cut down on travel time, exhaustion, and have more energy with which to enjoy the big apple.

Bed and Breakfasts serve as lovely, relaxing respites from a long, hectic day of touring or shopping. They are a great option for couples, especially those seeking a romantic escape, and are also ideal for singles or groups of friends. In general, they are not the best choice if you are traveling with children.
